WeWalk – Information on how WeWalk optimizes navigation routes
Problem
A customer using the WeWalk app for navigation wishes to know how the routes ae calculated.

Resolution
When the WeWalk calculates navigation routes, it attempts to optimizes them for walking directions and not road navigation. It looks for the shortest and safest walking paths available, however to be safe one should use other existing navigation aids, cues and strategies in addition to WeWalk. When in situations of doubt it may be worth using the WeAssist tab in the app to get live help on a route.
