WeWalk – Change directions repeat preferences

Problem

A WeWalk user wishes to change their directions repeat preferences because they experience too many or too few notifications whilst navigating.

Applies to

  1. WeWalk app (IOS/Android)

Resolution

You can change how often the WeWalk app provides direction hints as you navigate.  Some general guidance on what may help:
  1. If whilst navigating the directions repeat too frequently consider selecting a longer time interval or select one of the distance options.
  2. If whilst navigating the directions repeat are not frequent enough (eg. you miss information)  consider selecting one of the time based time based update options. 

  1. Open WeWalk app.
  2. Then choose My Account > Settings > Navigation Preferences > Direction Repeat Preferences.,
  3. On the next screen select the desired option in the list from those shown below:

    Don’t Repeat
    Every 15 seconds
    Every 30 seconds
    Every minute
    Every 20 metres
    Every 40 metres
    Every 60 metres

  4. Double tap the desired option or swipe to OK button and double tap after select the repeat direction interval.
