WeWalk – Failure to announce arrival at destination

Problem

A WeWalk user who attempts to navigate to large commercial premises encounters a probolem where the WeWalk app fails to notify them they have arrived at the destination.

Resolution

This problem may be due to inaccuracies in the location data provided in the map datra about the exact boundaries it occupies which cause the notification to fail.  Where this is a location you visit often it is advised that you add the destination to to My Locations within the WeWalk app for the best results.

  1. At the desired location open the WeWalk app.
  2. Then swipe through to Save Location button and activate it.
  3. Then swipe through to the second Save Location button and activate it.

When you return to the location that was saved you should be alerted upon arrival more accurately.
