WeWalk – Unable to power on/operate whilst charging

Problem

When WeWalk is placed on charge a user may encounter a problem where when pressiong power whilst charging the unit shuts down immediately after power on.

Resolution

  1. In a recent firmwasre update WeWalk have updated the firmware behaviour to prevent the unit from being powered on whilst on charge.  This is designed to enhance battery protection and overaall product safty. 
  2. If a user attmpts to power on WeWalk whilst it is charging, the unit will shut down immediately.   This is considered to be normal behaviour with the latest firmware when charging.  Therefore users are advised not to attempt to operate the unit whilst on charge. 
  3. Please disconnect from charge when it is required to be used, then power on as normal to operate the unit.
