Canon – Locating correct replacement inks for printer

Problem

A customer who needs help to find the corect replacement inks for their Canon printer/scanner unit.

Resolution

  1. If you do not know the correct inks to purchase as replacements locate the model number of the device you have eg.  Canon Pixma TS-5151.
  2. With the model number to hand click Canon Ink Finder, then use drop down list controls to provide the range and model of your Canon printer.
  3. Make a note of the ink codes shown for the products you need.  In some cases you may need a colour and a black ink for yoru Canon printer.  Using the gathered codes search for them with your favourite online supplier.

IMPORTANT!
Canon strongly advise only purchasing Canon branded inks, compatible third party inks are not guarunteed to provide the same quality and in some cases may damage the printer itself.
