Fusion - Magnification settings seem to change when loading an application

Problem

When using Fusion you encounter a problem where Fusion magnification settings appear to change when you open a specific application and this behaviour is unexpected.

Resolution

Please use the steps below as appropriate for your version of Fusion.

Fusion 2026

  1. Press ALT+Z followed by C then letter A, A.
  2. Then choose Manage Application settings.
  3. In the list locate the name of the application you have trouble, then click Delete this item.
  4. Then click OK button.

Fusion 2025 and below

  1. Press ALT+F, letter C, then letter A, A.
  2. Then choose Manage Application settings.
  3. In the list locate the name of the application you have trouble, then click Delete this item.
  4. Click OK button to save the changes.
