U2 - Use six key Braille style entry on a QWERTY notetaker
Problem
A BrailleSense U2 QWERTY user wishes to use six key Braille entry on their notetaker.

Resolution
There are two ways of accomplishing this.
- Just select “Braille document” when creating a new Word processor document.
- Set the default document type in global options.
Method 1 - Creating a new document as “Braille document”
Create a new document in word processor by pressing CONTROL+N.
Then select “Braille document” as your document type. The keyboard will then be available for six key Braille entry.
FDS = dots 1, 2, 3
JKL = dots 4, 5, 6
Method 2 - Setting “Braille document” as default type
- Press F10 to go into Global options
- Then shortcut letter Q for “Default document type”.
