JAWS – Outlook field labels miss-identified
Problem
When creating a new message using Outlook Classic JAWS will
speak the To: edit field as Cc: edit.
Applies to
- Jaws and Outlook
Resolution
- This problem has been tested with JAWS and Narrator
screen readers which both show the same problem. The field labels are out of sync one field further
on so that Cc: is announced as BCc etc.
- Since this has been identified and reported to Microsoft
as an accessibility issue it is hoped they will address it in a future update
to Office 365.
