JAWS - Page load progress announcement in Microsoft Edge only

Problem

A JAWS customer may observe that using Microsoft Edge announces page loading progress for an extended period of time where Chrome and Firefox do not.

Resolution

On particularly slow connections Microsoft Edge seems to take particular care to pass on information about page loading progress where Chrome and Firefox do not present this information in a similar scenario.  This is understood to be a particular quirk of Microsoft Edge on slow connections and its absence in Chrome or Firefox is not indication of a bug. characteristic.
