Magnibot – Connect using mobile hotspot
Problem
A Magnibot customer wishes to use both their Magnibot whilst also using their activate internet connection at the same time.

Resolution
One can set up a Windows or Mac computer to act as a wireless hotspot to allow connection of Magnibot. Please note that you will need a suitable USB connectino cable to establish the connection this should work on Windows and Mac computers but not IOS devices.
Step 1 - Activate mobile hotspot
- Ope Settings app.
- Then select Network & Internet, that activate the toggle for Mobile Hotspot.
- Then click the Share Over drop down to Wi-Fi.
- Take down the network name and password details for later.

Step 2 - Connect Magnibot
You will need to have a USB cable attached between laptop and Magnibot for the next steps.
- Cononect the Magnibot by USB to the computer running the hotspot.
- Then open a browser and navigate to: http://192.168.5.1/wifi
- In the web interface select Enable Wi-Fi button.
- Then click Connect Magnibot To Wi-Fi button.
- In the Wi-Fi connectino wizard pop-up click the drop down to select the mobile hotspot network.
- Then enter the password credentials and click Connect button. The Magnibot should then connect the mobile hotspot.
- Once you have confirmed Magnibot has joined the hotspot network it will be safe to disconnect the USB cable.
