Microsoft - Email text in reading pane displays inserted hyphens
Problem
When reading an email in Microsoft Outlook reading pane, words near the end of a line may be broken over the line boundary by a hyphen which may interrupt the flow of text spoken by synthetic speech.

Resolution
From Microsoft Outlook version 2403 and later Microsoft introduce advanced typography display feature to insert hyphens into fully justified text when viewed within the reading pane. This may possibly affect users by breaking words over lines and cause problems reading in speech and visually
- Click File > Options > Mail > Editor Options > Advanced.
- Then on the right panel scroll down to Display section and uncheck Advanced Typography checkbox.
- Then click Ok button at the bottom of the Editor Settings dialogue.
- Then click OK button at the bottom of the Outlook Options dialogue.
- Close and restart Outlook to finish changes.
