Microsoft - Install Office 365 applications for DSA students

Problem

A DSA student customer needs to download and activate Microsoft Office 365 apps.

Resolution

Most DSA students will gain free access to a Microsoft Office 365 license via their educational institution for the duration of their course.  All that is generally required are the student email/password credentials for that academic institution to sign in and download their software.  When the software opens they can then sign in to activate the license.

  1. Visit www.office.com and sign into your account using the credentials of the academic institution.
  2. Then click Install software button, a download will begin and installation started.
  3. Follow the on screen prompts to finish set up.
  4. Once setup if finished open a Microsoft Office app and sign in using the same academic credentials to download the license.
