Problem

A student needs to install Microsoft Office onto their DSA coputer.

Resolution

  • Students enrolled on a course at most higher education institutions will gain access to a free Microsoft Office 365 license for the duration of their study there.  Typically students will sign into their copy of Microsoft Office using their University email address and password credentials.  

  • If Microsoft Office is not installed or the machine or Windows has been reset students may visit setup.office.com and input their academic credentials to gain access to the installer.

  • In some rare cases one may have to register for an acaedmic license:
