Problem

A student asks how to get access to Microsoft Office on their computer..

Resolution

  • Students enrolled on a course at most higher education institutions will gain access to a license for Microsoft Office for the duration of their course via their academic email credentials.  

  • If the student has received a computer through Sight and Sound Technology, typically will have an install of Microsoft Office on their machine that only requires them to sign in to fully activate Microsoft Office on their Windows or Apple Mac machine. Where it is not already installed go to: setup.office.com and input their academic credentials to gain access to the installer.
