JAWS - Word quits during spell checking or correcting via context menu

Problem

A customer running JAWS encounters a problem that causes Microsoft Word to quite without warning.  Running Spell checker or press shift+F10 and selecting a replacement word appear to trigger the crash.

Resolution

Check the JAWS serial number has a license sufficient to run version 2022 or later.  Please visit:  https://fsactivate.freedomscientific.com/Activation/VerifyActivationKeys to check the version that is allowed or check in About JAWS under Help menu in JAWS to see if there are versions allowed beyond 2021.  If he license is insufficient customers are advised to upgrade their license to the current version.
