Dragon - Reinstall Word add-in module

Problem

When dictating text suddenly for no reason appears, italicised, red, strike through and green highlighted.

Resolution

  1. Close all programs and applications, especially Dragon, Word and Outlook
  2. Click Sart button and search Command Prompt and right click it, and choose Run As Administrator.
  3. In the command prompt window type or copy/paste the command below, then press ENTER:

    Regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking12\Program\dgnword.dll"

  4. You should get a confirmation message saying that the library has been unregistered.
  5. Then re-register the add-in again following the same procedure but using this entry now:

    Regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking12\Program\dgnword.dll"

  6. Once you have pressed ENTER the response will display a message confirming if it was successfully registered.
  7. Restart Dragon, Word and Outlook and test the dictation.
