Removing BrailleSense U2 mini battery

Problem

You need to remove the BreailleSense U2 battery possibly in order to affect a reset.

Resolution

  1. Locate the 2 switches on the underside of the unit near the far left corner.
  2. Using your left hand, move the left-most switch to the right to 'unlock' the battery.
  3. Then to the right locate the second, spring-loaded switch. Hold this switch to the left to release the battery.
  4. Then slide the battery out of the compartment.
