BrailleSense U2 - Removing BrailleSense U2 mini battery

Problem

You need to remove the BreailleSense U2 mini battery for replaceement or to use the reset button.


Applies to

  1. HIMS U2 mini

Resolution

  1. Locate the 2 switches on the underside of the unit near the far left corner.
  2. Using your left hand, move the left-most switch to the right to 'unlock' the battery.
  3. Then to the right locate the second, spring-loaded switch. Hold this switch to the left to release the battery.
  4. Then slide the battery out of the compartment.
  5. Releaseing the battery should then allow access to the reset button if required.
