A laptop or desktop computer is behaving abnormally and you wish to reset Windows back to defaults to attempt to resolve the problem.
Warning!
Performing a reset will destroy user data and also applications. Please create a back up of all work before commencing a reset that may erase user data.
Resolution
Please follow the steps as appropriate to the installed operating system.
Windows 11
Click Start menu then Settings.
Then click System, scroll down then click Recovery.
Then click Reset PC button to begin reset procedure. Please make sure you have backed up all user data before proceeding.
Follow the prompts select Remove Everything and follow the prompts to reset.
Windows 10
Click Start button then Settings.
Then click Update & Security > Recovery
Then click click "Get started" button under "Reset this PC".
Click Remove everything be sure to have a backup before continuing with the reset as data may be lost.,
Follow the on screen instructions to complete the reset.
