DaVinci HD - Resetting unit

Problem

A DaVinchi HD magnifier unit is not behaving correctly.

Applies to

  1. DaVinchi HD OCR
  2. DaVinchi pro OCR

Resolution

Use the process below to reset the Da Vinchi magnifier if it is malfunctioning.

  1. Press Find and Mode buttons to enter the menu.
  2. Turn the Zoom wheel clockwise to select "Product Information".
  3. Then press find button to open the "Product information" sub menu.
  4. Turn the Zoom wheel to select "Factory Restore" then press "Find" button to select the restore option.



Note
The restore will reset all settings except the primary language or voice settings which will remain unchanged.
