Ruby – Reset procedure

Problem

A Ruby magnifier is not working as expected and you wish to try a settings reset to fix the problem.

Applies to

  1. Ruby magnifiers

Resolution

Use the reset procedure relevant to the Ruby model you have (shown below).

Ruby/Ruuby HD

  1. Press and hold Green/Yellow Power button and Blue up button for 15 seconds.  
  2. This will reset all colour modes to their defaults.

Ruby XL-HD

  1. Press and hold Green/Yellow Power button and Blue up button for 15 seconds.  
  2. This will reset all colour modes to their defaults.


Ruby 7

  1. Press and hold Green/Yellow Power button and Blue up button for 15 seconds.  
  2. This will reset all colour modes to their defaults.

Rub 10

  1. Tap System Settings menu icon shown below.

     

  2. Then tap Reset settings menu icon shown below.



  3. Then  tap Yes button to reset settings.
