SensePlayer – Format a new SD card/flashdisk

Problem

A SensePlayer needs to format an SD card installed in the SensePlayer or format the flashdisk.

Resolution

Please turn on the SensePlayer and carry out the steps below.

  1. Press MENU key then use UP/DOWN ARROW keys to locate Utilities, then press OK.
  2. Then use the UP/DOWN arrow keys in the Utilities menu and select Format, then press OK.
  3. Use LEFT/RIGHT ARROW keys to select the SD card installed in the SensePlayer, then press OK.  Please take care to make sure you are not going to format the flashdisk unless intended.
  4. Respond to the prompt to confirm the formatting operation by pressing OK or press Cancel button.
  5. Respond to the second warning about data erasure by pressing OK, or press Cancel to abort the operation.  
  6. Then wait for the formatting operation to be completed.
