SensePlayer – Home menu items

You wish to know the layout of the main menu from the home screen level.

Resolution

The SensePlayer has a HOME screen menu below are the main items in this menu. You can get to the home at any time using the HOME button.  The list below prvides the direct access key, the menu item and a short description of its use.

Note

The numbers proceeding each item 0-9 act as quick shortcuts to the menu items.

1. File Manager: Explore and manage files and folders on the SensePlayer.
2. Media Player: Play audio files such as MP3 and WAV, as well as the audio of video formats such as MP4.
3. DAISY Player: Use this program to play DAISY text and audio books.
4. Document reader: Use this program to play various document file types, including, text files as well as EPUB, PDF, HTML, and Microsoft Word files.
5. FM Radio: Use this program to listen to FM Radio stations.
6. OCR: Use this program to scan printed books or documents and have them read aloud.
7. Web Radio: Use this program to listen to web radio stations from around the world.
8. Podcasts: Use this program to download and play podcasts you are subscribed to.
9. Library Services: Opens a menu containing available search and download applications for electronic libraries for the blind supported in the country in which you live.
