Step 2 - Installing a single SIM and micro SD card
- With the SIM tray in front of you in the orientation that it has just come out. In this orientation there are two SIM slots. The left slot on the SIM try is known as SIM1 and may accomodate either a SIM card or microSD card. If you plan to use a SIM card and memory card don't install your SIM in this slot. Use the slot to the right of it nearest where it will endter the phone.
- Orientate the SIM card contact side down and rotate so the bevelled cut out is located on the bottom right and gently place into slot SIM2 on the right slot.
- To install the microSD card orientate it onto its long side contact side down and rotate so the bevelled cut out is on the bottom right also. Gently lay it into the left slot on the tray.
- Once both microSD and SIM cards are placed carefully slide the tray back into place taking care to keep it level so both cards stay in placed.

Step 2a - Installing two SIM cards
When installing two SIM cards use the steps below:
Place the one of the SIM cards into the left slot SIM1 with contact side is down and rotate so the bevelled cut out is located on the bottom right, the should occupy the the left portion of the SIM1 slot.
Then place the other SIM card into slot SIM2 just to the right of SIM1 slot, the orientation of the card is the same as for SIM1 one with contact side down and the bevelled cut out located at the bottom right corner. Place this in slot SIM2. It does not matter which SIM card goes where so long as both are correctly installed.
Fig 2: The illustration above shows the SIM tray with the left side of the tray assembly normally sitting flush with the left side panel of the phone. Both compartments are populated with SIM cards in each slot in the same orientation contact side down and bevelled cut out on the bottom right.
