SmartVision 3 – Installing SIM card and SD Card

Information

The SmartVision 3 can accommodate a nano SIM card and a micro SD card. Alternatively, it may take a second SIM in place of the Micro SD card.

Step 1 – Ejecting the SIM tray

  1. Lay the phone in front face up so its bottom side is nearest you.
  2. Carefully inssert the end of the SIM extraction tall into the small hole on the left hand side of the phont.
  3. Once the tool is located in the eject hole gently push until the SIM tray slides out. Whilst doing this be careful not to block opening of the SIM tray to avoid accidentally damaging the mechanism.

Step 2 - Installing a single SIM and micro SD card

  1. With the SIM tray in front of you and oriented on its long side locate the right most SIM slot and orientate the nano SIM card with contact side facing down, bevelled edge on bottom right so the card fits in the tray.
  2. Optinoally, if you have a micro SD card orientate it on its long side so its bevelled edge is on the bottom right.
  3. Then gently lay it into the left most slot on the tray.
  4. Once both SIM and micro SD card are placed gently slide the tray into the tray slow on the phone taking care to keep it level so the cards stay in place.

Step 2a - Installing two SIM cards

Where two SIM cards are installed SIM1 should be placed in the left hand tray and SIM2 placed in the right tray. Note both SIMS lie in the same orientation (bevelled side bottom right, contact side down). Please note illustration below for reference.
