SmartVision 3 – Send an email

Problem

A SmartVision user wishes to send an  email to an existing contact.

Applies to

  1. SmartVision 3

Resolution

You can use the voice dictation to compose and send an email using the steps below.

  1. Open Gmail app.
  2. Then use UP/DOWN arrow keys to find Compose, then press OK.
  3. At the To: edit press OK to start editing, then press Voice button if you wish to dicate contact name or use the numeric pad to enter text. 
  4. If there are any contact matches use UP/DOWN ARROW keys to select one then press OK.
  5. Then navigate down to Subject, then press OK to start editing and dictate or enter your text using the keyboard, then press OK
  6. Then add your text by doing the same as above..
  7. When everything is done navigate up to Send then press OK, email is sent.
