SmartVision 3 - Set speech to speak letters phonetically

Problem

A SmartVision user wishes to have letters spoken back phonetically when reviewing text character by character.

Applies to

  1. SmartVision 3

Resolution

  1. Press MENU key, then press UP/DOWN arrow keys to select Talkback Accessibility > Text to speech settings > Verbosity.
  2. Then press UP/DOWN arrow keys to select Speak letters with example, then press OK to toggle the option on or off as desired.
  3. Then press HOME key to return to standby screen.
