Texthelp - Using SCCM to remotely deploy Read & Write

Problem

You run a large network and wish to deploy Read & Write across multiple machines.


Resolution

To deploy Read & Write 11.5 silently, you can use the MSI Admin Tool to configure the Read&Write .MSI file. I would suggest doing the following;

  1. Log in to essentials.texthelp.com and log in with your serial number
  2. Download the Read & Write installer.
  3. Under 'Planning to deploy', download the MSI Admin tool and user guide
  4. Once you have the Admin tool installed and connected to the Read&Write .msi file, fill in all the details for your license and file paths.
  5. Under Advanced Options you will get the option to do a 'No interface' install. Update and save the MSI and you can deploy this via SCCM without needing additional switches for a silent install.
