ZoomText - Alternative ZoomText start-up for problem installations

Problem

ZoomText does not start after Windows sign in (from the desktop).

Resolution

  1. Find the desktop icon for ZoomText version to automatically start, right click and choose Copy from the menu.
  2. Right click Start button and choose Run, then enter the text below and click OK button:

    Shell:startup

  3. A new explorer window will pop up, paste the ZoomText icon into this location and close the window.
  4. Then restart to test the new logon scenario to ensure this has fixed the problem.
