ZoomText/Fusion – Using Microsoft Co-Pilot app

A ZoomText/Fusion user would like to use Microsoft Co-Pilot app.

Resolution

At the time of writing 09/2025 there are known bugs submitted with Vispero for the attention of development to address.  Currently we do not have a definitive timeline for when these will be addressedm terst and releasd to the public.  Therefore the infomration below represent some informal tips and workarounds and may not work for everyojne.

Installing Co-Pilot app

  1. Click Start button or press Windows key to open the Start menu search, then search 'Store' and open the result 'Microsoft Store'.
  2. When the Store app opens click the search box at the top or press CONTROL+E.
  3. At the search box enter 'Co-pilot' without quotes, then use UP/DOWN arrow keys to select Microsoft Co-Pilot and press ENTER.  Be careful not to select Microsoft 365 Co-Pilot.
  4. On the Co-Pilot app page activate the Get button or press TAB to reach it using the keyboard then press SPACEBAR on it.  Afterwards you may need to activate the Install button to run the installer.
  5. After installation open Start and search Co-Pilot and launch the app.

Co-Pilot tips

  1. After opening the Co-Pilot app, either click with the mouse or press TAB find the edit box to enter your query then press ENTER to submit the question.
  2. When reviewing the ansswer text some users will encounter problems reading with mouse echo or the AppReader features.  Instead click the sample of your question just above the answer which should result in a red box highlight.
  3. Then press DOWN ARROW arrow to have ZoomText/Fusion read the response text back.  If the answer spans more than a screenfull try scrolling down and then refocus on the answer text so the red highlight re-appears to the remaining text.
  4. To submit a new question click the edit box below the responses or press TAB to reach the edit box.
