BrailleSense 6 – Copy file from flashdisk to SD card or USB drive

Problem

You wish to copy a file on the BrailleSense 6 flashdisk to a destination folder on an SD card or USB drive.

Resolution

Please connect your external SD card or USB media to the BrailleSense 6 then follow the instructions below:

  1. Press F1 to open the menu and select to open File Manager.
  2. In File manager select Flashdisk and press ENTER.
  3. Then select the folder the file you wish to copy is contained.
  4. Navigate to the file inside the folder and press SPACEBAR to select it for copy.
  5. Press the Braille shortcut Enter-C, the BrailleSense will respond on the display:  copying...
  6. Then press BACKSPACE to move up folder levels to the main drive list.
  7. Then select the SD card or USB media you wish to copy the file to.
  8. Select the folder to copy into and press ENTER.
  9. When at the desired location press ENTER-V to paste the file into the location.
