BrailleSense 6 – Enable or disable one-handed mode
Problem
A BrailleSense 6 user wishes to engage One-Handed mode.

Resolution
There are two methods for toggling One-Handed mode on BrailleSens 6:
Method 1 - Use hotkey shortcut
Press Backspace-L (dots 1-2-3) chord – this toggles One-Handed mode on or off.
Mwrhos 2 - In Global Options dialogue
- Press F1 to open the Start Menu.
- Then press letter S for Settings.
- Then enter letter O to open Global Options.
- Press space-1 or space-4 to navigate through the options to locate the option One-Handed Mode to change the setting using SPACEBAR or BACKSPACE.
- Save the setting by pressing ENTER or press TAB to reach Confirm button and press ENTER. The BrailleSense will than speak “Saved options” to confirm the change.
