Dragon - Freeze when opening attachments

Problem

A Dragon version 13.0 user attempts to open Outlook attachments, when doing so they experience a freeze or hang. 


Resolution

To fix the problem it is necessary to disable attachment previews using the steps below:

  1. In Microsoft Outlook choose File > Options.
  2. Then locate Trust Centre on the left-hand list, then Trust Centre Settings.
  3. In the Trust Centre window, click Attachment Handling on the left-hand list.
  4. Then click to enable the checkbox "Turn off Attachment Previews".
  5. Then click OK to confirm the changes.
