FS Auth – Message posted “Your license has changed…”
Problem
When starting a Freedom Scientific BLV software
product JAWS/ZoomText/Fusion a message box is posted stating that the license has changed, example
screenshot below.
Resolution
This message indicates that there is a difference in the
license that is currently installed on the computer and the authorisation available online. The dialogue offers to update the license on the computer for you. Below are the possible choices:
- Yes – Update installed license
- Ask me again later – Do not update license now
- Don’t Ask Me Again – License will be updated, prompt to
update will stop appearing in future
If you wish to update the license choose Yes button and
press SPACEBAR on it. The other two options
can be used at the discretion of the user.
If a user accidentally chooses the option to do not ask again the
authorisation can still be updated by going to the Update Authorisation option
within the product JAWS/ZoomText/Fusion.
