FS Auth – Network license authorisation overview (for technicians)


About

The Freedom Scientific Network License option is available for multi-user license of Freedom Scientific BLV software products JAWS/ZoomText/Fusion.  It provides a way to centrally distribute a license to client PCs in the same network and does away with the need to individually authorise workstations. Sentinel License Manager software is installed on a computer that all client computers can see on the network.  As each station logs on it receives a network broadcast and downloads a license from the Sentinel server machine, when the workstation logs off the license is returned to the Sentinel Server central pool.   This way anywhere upwards of five users may be supported.
