Microsoft - Spell check wizard replaced by Editor
Problem
A Microsoft Word user encounters a problem where the
spell check wizard is replaced with Microsoft Editor experience.

Resoiution
- Microsoft removed the spell check wizard with the Editor experience. Please find below a workaround for the problem.
- It is possible to reinstate the spell checker wizard but it requires creation of a macro and assigning it to a hotkey, in some environments that may not be allowed.
Using the mouse
- With a document open observe the words marked with a red
wavy line underneath them.
- Right click each instance of these.
- Then select Spelling and make your selection from the
choices available.
- Move onto the next spelling error and repeat as above.
Using the keyboard
- With a document open use normal text navigation keys to
navigate to the beginning of a flagged word.
- Then press SHIFT+F10 to activate the context menu.
- Press UP/DOWN arrow keys to highlight Spelling, then
press ENTER.
- In the sub menu use UP/DOWN keys to find the correct
alternative for the flagged word.
- Move onto the next spelling error and repeat as above.
