Unable to read audio books on the SmartVision2
Problem
This document discusses a potential problems reading audio books with the Book Reader appllication on Smartvision 2 phone.
Resolution
Please check the problems listed below that most closely resemble the problem being experienced.
Cannot play audio book
- The Book reader application supports the following formats: : Daisy 2.02, Daisy 3.0, Epub, Epub3, Doc, Docx PDF, Txt, html.
- Please ensure the book is copiped into the "Books" folder on the phone.
Cannot play book after downloading it. After downloading.
The audio book may have been compressed to optimize storage space such as a ZIP file. To resolve this problem the book must be extracted from the ZIP file. Follow these steps:
- Go to "My bookshelf" and choose the "Explore the file tree" function.
- Then, select the file you need to unzip and confirm with the "OK" key.
- An extraction confirmation window will appear, select the "OK" button with the navigation arrows and confirm. The archive is then unzipped and placed in the "Books" folder of the internal memory (this may take a few minutes).
- Once completed, a new warning window will appear and suggest you to delete the ZIP file if you want, please do so. Your unzipped file is now available from "My Bookshelf".
