Unable to sign in using Dropbox app on U2

Problem

When you open the Dropbox app on the U2 notetaker you are greeted by the opening screen with the email address filled in but and it appears to have the password filled in but you are unable to sign in.

  1. HIMS U2 series notetakers

Resolution

This problem can sometimes occur with the saved credentials in the Dropbox app are different from those now used to log into your Dropbox because the password has been updated on another device. However, the device you are having difficulty with does not give the user the opportunity to sign in with the new password and signs in with the old one which is rejected.

  1. On the U2 open "file Manager" and then open open the "Flashdisk", then the "Database" folder.
  2. With the Database folder open locate the “dropbox” folder, please delete this folder.
  3. Then restart your U2.
